Description
FireShell® thermal, ignition and non-flammable coatings are typically 10% of the viscosity of competitive coatings making
them among the most user-friendly coatings available. FireShell coatings achieve superior hide and utilize smaller
equipment which increases job-site efficiency. FireShell coatings are water-based, single-component, non-flammable
or intumescent coatings that can expand in the event of a fire to provide a protective layer of char that starves the fire
of oxygen and helps prevent flame contact with the FireShell protected surfaces. All FireShell coatings are non-toxic,
and drain-safe, making handling and clean up safe and easy for applicators and building occupants.

- Non-flammable, non-toxic, water-based, drain safe, non-fuming, single-component product that expands during a fire to form a protective layer of char over the application surface.
- Passes full scale room corner over foam NFPA 286 and E84 Class 1 certified.
- Superior mold resistance on the cured film surface; tested in accordance with ASTM D3273.
- Lower viscosity provides greater coverage and hide than other coatings.
- Meets the following Building and Residential Codes over foam; 2015 IBC 803.1.2.1, 2015 IBC 2603.9 and 2015 IRC 316.6.
