Aleddra’s EzUVC™ Overbed Light combines UVC Lighting and Circadian Lighting in one aesthetic design. It uses a 3ft UVC (254nm) T5 tube for effective reduction of certain commonly seen MRSA and Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteria in hospitals. Third party test shows 99.99% kill rate against MRSA bacteria in 10 minutes. It provides triple safety mechanisms during UVC lighting operation: flashing warning light, siren alarm, and motion sensor which would suspend UVC lighting operation upon motion detection. More advantageously, the fixture offers blue-enriched light to stimulate biological activity during daytime and blue-depleted light to calm down biological activity at night. This can be particularly beneficial for those who suffer from Seasonable Affective Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Dementia, sleep disorders, jet lag as well as anyone who would benefit from additional circadian lighting. This fixture is ideal for use in hospitals, senior living communities and assisted living facilities.
